Gran Kahuna is one of the newest hostels in Bocas del Toro, Panama. We are centrally located in Bocas Town and only a five minute boat ride away from some of the best surf spots in Bocas del Toro. Gran Kahuna is a two storey Caribbean style hostel with oceanfront views, a chill lounge with sitting areas complete with a bar, games, a plasma TV with cable, and free Internet for our guests. After many reviews, Gran Kahuna can proudly say that we are considered one of the best hostels in Panama.
Our hostel has no private rooms, all are shared rooms. There are shared bathrooms on each floor with clean showers. Each person is given fresh sheets, with a towel and keys with a lock for their locker. On the first floor our beds are $10. These are our economical beds. Upstairs the beds are $12 and the rooms are much more spacious, some with waterfront views, and have bigger lockers which can hold a large backpack. We offer special rates for longer stays.
